Generally we only rehome within this area as everyone receives two home visits, one prior to adoption and one 6-8 weeks after. .Home visits are intended to help you as well as enabling us to ensure that the guinea pig is going to a properly equipped home. You may be advised to make some changes but our home visitors are happy to explain why this is necessary.Rehoming within this area also enables us to advise on veterinary care available. When rehoming out of area we insist that potential adopters join the Cambridge Cavy Trust and take their Guineas for 6 monthly check ups (free) with a local (Berkshire) rodentologist. |
